Documentary Update #3: Jon Legarte aka Jon-e-boi

Jon Legarte, aka Jon-E-Boi, is one of the younger and talented individuals that will be making an appearance in the documentary. Being 21 years old and a full-time student combined with his skill makes this kid special to me, and that’s why I went and paid him a visit.
Jon was the tour guide of San Francisco, we couldn’t ask for better adventures. We ate at some of the best hidden spots in the area, while trying foods for the first time.
The Mega Munny you see in the photos above was painted in the few days I was there by the young artist. His attitude and motivation about the piece and the community made this so easy for me. This kid isn’t even in his prime yet, and I can’t wait until it comes….

Closing ceremony of Stop Haunting Me, a gathering of amazing works by Greg “Craola” Simkins held in Los Angeles, California on Saturday May 4th.
I missed the opening of this show because I was on the road working on a documentary film I am currently dedicated to. This past weekend, I had the opportunity to go admire some of Greg’s paintings in person.
